CodeBeamer allows Application Lifecycle Management. CodeBeamer provides distributed software development and gives an opportunity to manage projects, teams, tasks, requirements, traceability, changes, configurations, builds and documents through one secure environment. It is a configurable system.

PROBLEM:
ITLAND SOFTWARE has been developing the distributed application development environment allowing:
- Enhancing the quality of project management enabling real – time change control of the distributed projects;
- Improving the development team productivity providing a prompt access to knowledge base and giving an opportunity to share information, experience and source codes.
The company encountered a problem of hiring qualified and relatively inexpensive specialists to develop this system.
SOLUTION:
SimbirSoft Ltd. provided them with a developer for this project on the terms of staff leasing. Starting working on the project our developer visited INTLAND SOFTWARE office and worked there for a month. The further work was done remotely. The communication was carried out with the help of the CodeBeamer system itself as well as via e-mail, Skype, gtalk.
General description:
CodeBeamer is a software solution for distributed application development. The environment has an intuitive web interface and a multifunctional tool bar. This environment allows full project change traceability together with prioritization and track of time and scope of work. The documents and source codes are automatically added to the log of change. There is also a knowledge base system integrating many parts and enabling users add notes. Change tracking system is easily customized and provides an opportunity to send e-mail reminders about the progress.Taken as a whole, the system has many functions. Here are some of them:

The developers of SimbirSoft Ltd. took part in developing part of the system functionality. Substantial contributions were made to the development of chart and report processing systems.
